Computing Student Internships work for both students and their host organisations!

Xperience Works is delighted to be part of the ANU Computing Student Internship Program because it provides students with a great transition to work experience. Students get an opportunity to work in the real world and hosts get an opportunity to progress important projects and test new talent.

Congratulations to Jimmy Tung (Intern in Semester 2 2018) and Document Modelling. Jimmy has recently been employed by Document Modelling following his successful student internship with them.

ANU Pilot Computing Student Internship established Semester 2 2017

The ANU Research School of Computing worked with the Australian Computing Society in Semester 2 2017 to pilot an innovative student internship.

The pilot was based on a 180 hour work placement for Masters of Computing students to deliver a defined technology project. Industry mentors were assigned to students to help them grow professional skills and proactively solve workplace challenges. The pilot was a success!, and the formal program commenced with support from Xperience Works in Semester 2 2018.

For more information please see this case study.
